Webfar is Morten and Kasama Vestergaard’s micro web agency, based in Thailand. The company was founded in 2022, after we started receiving a lot of freelance work in various types of web development. Therefore, we decided to go all-in and start a “real” company. But what is Webfar? And who are Kasama and Morten really? <\/p>\n

I’ve been a computer nerd since I received my first computer, a Sinclair ZX-Spectrum<\/a>, as a Christmas gift back in the 1980s. I have two great passions: technology and music. This has resulted in two vastly different educations – one at the conservatory<\/a> and one as a multimedia designer<\/a>. <\/p>\n

I’ve been building websites for many years and have a firm grasp on the technical aspects needed when establishing an online presence. I can program at a reasonably high level and create solutions that work. I have also developed and designed applications from scratch, and therefore have experience from the entire process – from initial plans, creation of wireframes, content architecture, text content, UI and UX design, to the actual development and programming of solutions. <\/p>\n

My passion for both music and programming has resulted in applications such as EarBeater<\/a> and ChordAce<\/a>, which are apps and tools for music education.<\/p>\n

In addition, I run the YouTube channel Music & Coding<\/a>, where I’ve been teaching the internet about music and programming since 2020.<\/p>\n

I’ve also worked as a technical project manager in various contexts and have developed a keen sense for communication between developers and clients. In other words, I “speak” both languages. I have the computer nerd in me and at the same time, I can explain various technical aspects to ordinary people who are not technically founded. <\/p>\n

In 2016, I moved to Thailand to try my luck as a “digital nomad” for a period. Here, I’ve held various jobs and also worked as a freelancer. Shortly after I moved, I met Kasama, who I am now married to. Together, we have a son, Luke, born in 2020. <\/p>\n

Kasama is a trained physicist but has pursued a completely different field for a long time. She has many years of experience working with supply chain management in a large international company with about 8,000 employees. She has a great overview, is detail-oriented, and is used to finding solutions in pressured situations. <\/p>\n

In 2018, she quit her job to try something different after 12 years at the same workplace. She started working as a freelancer on various projects and set out to learn to program and develop websites and more. <\/p>\n

In addition to being a skilled project manager and being organized, she has a passion for training and CrossFit. She worked as a CrossFit trainer for a period and runs her own fitness YouTube channel. <\/p>\n

As the surname suggests, she is married to Morten and together they have a son, Luke. They are all based in Thailand and run their business from there. <\/p>\n

I have an MBA in Marketing, with a deep interest in economics and investment that led me into the banking world. With more than 12 years of extensive experience in the banking sector, I’ve built a solid understanding of financial processes. <\/p>\n

In 2018, I decided to leave my position as a bank manager to broaden my horizons and immerse myself in language studies abroad, which I dedicated several years to.<\/p>\n

In 2022, I returned to Thailand and started a new chapter in my career at a private school, where I taught Thai to foreign adults and English to Thai children.<\/p>\n

This new chapter continues now with Webfar, where I have assumed the role of web development assistant. My tasks include content updating, website building, and managing many other varied tasks. I greatly appreciate this role, as it provides me with the opportunity to continuously learn and explore new areas every day. <\/p>\n
